Love & Inspiration...Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day!

This is one of my favorite holidays. It makes me giggle. Then I start to shake...then I get inspired which lead to today's project!

We were challenged this month to lift a fellow design teammate's art. I love Nikki Smith's work and took guidance from her project from last month

I love the pattern of the butterflies. It's linear but still seems free-floating. I take the same approach with the hearts I use on my card for today. This card is inspired by Valentine's Day, Nikki's butterfly pattern, and I must give a nod to Nichol Magourik for her tutorial on Shaker Border Cards.

I used Pink Fizz embossing powder, Melt-It and the Ornate Heart mold to create the focal point embellishment of my card.

I used super fine opaque white embossing powder for the sentiment I made from a few words in the "It's all Relative" stamp set from Wow! Look at the amazing definition from our Wow! Embossing Powders!

The shaker card came together relatively easy and is a beautiful finished piece!

Have you been inspired by our team's work? Please share!

Remember that you can enter our challenge each month and have a chance to win a set of 6 embossing powders in a handy carry case. The winner will be randomly selected from eligible entries.

All projects must have either heat embossing or use our products and must also be a follower of our blog to qualify and enter. Add your project link below or share them and our FacebookTwitterInstagram or Pinterest page.

Please be sure to link to the specific blog post and not just your blog homepage, otherwise we won't find your entry and you won't be entered into the challenge. This site is using Mister Linky's Magical Widgets. Have a terrific weekend!
XOXO
