A great day with great embossing colors

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again and this time I decided to return to my primary love and to make a  summer and sun scrapbooking page.
This is my new lo made for WOW! Embossing Powders Summer/Sunshine challenge and it's so sunny and  orange and yellow that my  it really screams " Summer" . Actually it's almost a Mixed Media piece and the photo in black and white with a small die cut - Die-Versions- title are the last  second add- ons.

I made a background 7.5*15 cardstock  in Mixed Media style  with stencils (CWS and Tando Creative) and lots of embossing powders all over the gesso.
The gesso stencil's bursts were covered with Opaque Primary Mandarin,  Sherbert, Lemon,Peach Gleam and Fluorescent Yellow powders.
The flowers were stamped with WOW!Collage stamp  set  and heat embossed with Black  Ebony embossing powder. Then I stamped  partlyFlowers background using Bright White  embossing powder. A chipboard fence with a gate was added, painted with R…

Soapy clean....

Hi there,
It's Nikki here with my summer inspiration for you.....
Now when I think of summer I think of yellows and cool showers - well especially with the heatwave we have been having over the past few weeks.
So I decided to do something a little different this month.
This month I have been using a selection of the moulds that WOW! sell. You can find them here....

I wanted to make something that my guests over the summer could use.....
This is what I made...
A little something for my guests to use in the shower.....

I took a bar of soap (I used Pears as I just love the smell of it but you could use other kinds of soap - a tar soap melts nicely).... and I melted it in my melt pot - i cut little bits of the soap up and placed it into a little cake tin and sat that into the melt pot. This means it's easier to handle and clean up after!

While the soap was liquid I poured it into the moulds. After a minute or so I popped them out the moulds

Hey prestso .... mini soaps that are in …

A Little Note..

Hi everyone!! It's Sandie here today, with some Summer Inspiration for you. This month the WOW! design team are creating Summer inspired projects and my take on it was to use HOT colours,

Taking some white card I heat embossed French Music with Clear Glossembossing powder. I used Dylusions sprays and Glimmer Mist to create the background. Being the impatient type that I am I used my heat gun to dry the sprays and then lightly rubbed a damp baby wipe across the music notes to remove the colour.

I used the Butterfly and sentiment from theWith Love clear stamp set - I heat embossed the butterfly with Primary Bark and coloured the wings with distress inks. The sentiment has also been stamped out with distress ink and cut out with Nestabilities.

Don't forget, you can enter our Wow challenge of Summer to be in with a chance of winning 6 embossing powders of your choice!
Have a great day! Sandie xXx

Summer Bunting - How To Make Personalised Bunting Tutorial

Hi everyone, it's Sarah here with a project that I have made for this months theme of Summer.

I had been invited to afternoon tea to celebrate my friends 30th birthday so I decided to create a summery themed card for her that would fit with our afternoon of tea, sandwiches and cake and what better way than to say Happy Birthday than with bunting!

I started by creating the mini flags. I printed them and cut them out but you could use patterned paper and little alphabet stamps to create the wording that you require.

Next I used a hand punch to create little holes in the corner of the flags to thread the ribbon through

I covered each little flag with Clear Ultra High Wow Embossing Powder and placed on a baking tray and heat embossed these in an oven on a low to medium temperature. I repeated this process three times to get a nice thick coating.

Using 3mm wide white ribbon, I threaded the flags onto the ribbon one at a time.

Finally, I positioned the 3 strips of bunting on the card an…
